Pre-primary education is an essential element of the total educational process. It is the foundation stone on which the entire education, career and life of the individual is based.

Eminent educationists of India and the world have emphasised on pre-primary education as the basic and essential components of the total educational process. During this stage, children are very tender and receptive. They require special, individual and extra attention. They will benefit a lot from innovative and interesting methods and approaches specific for their age and mental development. It is for this reason, that the need for specific nursery teachers has arisen. Nursery teachers are given special pre-service training related to the young minds they deal with.

True education aims at all-round development of a student. Here the term "all-round" is comprehensive, inclusive of educational, moral, ethical, intellectual, cultural and emotional development. For this purpose, we, as teachers must make a whole-hearted effort, strengthening the teacher-student bond.

Thus, in the 21st century, with 'Knowledge Explosion', the teachers share a great challenge and responsibility towards the young generation, school going children in particular. Let us join hands towards this noble cause to yield the desired result for a better India, tomorrow.

Our mission is to develop an understanding of the principles of pedagogy and its application to curriculum transaction and evaluation and to develop in students, the skills and competencies necessary to play the multifaceted role of the teacher in the new millennium.

It is said that a proper harmonious combination of body, mind and soul is required for making a complete person. Therefore the environment of DAV DPSE is designed to maximize learning through purposeful activity. We seek to develop our students physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually keeping in mind the rich Indian cultural heritage and the ever changing dynamic future. We inspire our students for life long learning and for reaching the unreached.
