educate then while playing. Students are
acquainted with knowledge based indoor &
outdoor games.

children understanding is better when
converted to activities , ''Learning by
doing'' has become very popular in the
present system of education.
Project Method
This method is
being advocated by present day educationists
as one of the most important methods for
young children.

Method
Teacher
trainees are taught how to use this method
to check the previous knowledge, to develop
their lesson as well as keep the students
attentive in their class.
Conversation Method
This helps to
develop confidence of the very shy children
as they learn to express their feeling which
leads to their overall personality
development.
Dramatization
Teacher
trainees are taught how to organize skits ,
plays , puppet shows & role plays for young
children.
Field Trips
They provide first
hand experience to students regarding any
phenomenon or working of any organization
Exhibitions
The work
( art & craft )done by students throughout
the year is displayed in exhibition. When
the work done by young ones is displayed and
appreciated they feel elated.
Field Practice help the student teacher to plan and conduct developmentally appropriate activities, How to plan daily, weekly and monthly curriculum. How to organise the indoor and outdoor space for activities and organise material for activities? Field Practice is carried out in three sessions in various pretigious private and Government schools of Tricity.
- Field Practice and Observation- This is 4 Weeks Training in 1st Year. Trainee Students went to different Pre-primary classes and observe methods of teaching of teacher, planning and conducting of activities in class by teachers.
- Field Practice- This is 4 weeks training in 2nd Year. Trainee Students went to different Pre-primary classes and present a lesson to meet their needs across all domains of development and focus to enhance creativity, emergent literacy and mathematical abilities in children.
- Pre- school Internship- This is 12 weeks internship in 2nd Year. Interns function as a regular teacher and therefore immersed in all aspects of the school but with the provision that the intern is enabled to be creative in her role as a practitioner. This is accomplished by providing her the necessary physical space as well as pedagogical freedom to use innovative skills.
